Terms and Conditions for ZanMind Q&A for Confluence

1. Agreement to Terms

By installing and using ZanMind Q&A for Confluence ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to these terms.

2. License Grant

Subject to these terms and your payment of applicable fees through the Atlassian Marketplace, ZanMind grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the App within your Confluence instance.

3. Usage Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive the source code of the App
  • Modify or create derivative works based on the App
  • Sublicense, sell, or rent the App to any third party
  • Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Remove or obscure any proprietary notices or labels on the App

4. Intellectual Property

ZanMind retains all right, title, and interest in and to the App, including all intellectual property rights. The App is licensed, not sold, to you. Any feedback you provide regarding the App may be used by ZanMind without obligation to you.

5. Maintenance and Support

ZanMind provides support and maintenance as described in our support policy and the Atlassian Marketplace. We aim to respond to support inquiries within 24-48 business hours. Support is provided primarily through our Support Portal.

6. Privacy and Data Security

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. As the App operates within your Confluence instance, you acknowledge that you are responsible for the management and security of your Confluence environment.

7. Fees and Payments

Billing and payment for the App are handled exclusively through the Atlassian Marketplace. All terms related to subscriptions, renewals, and cancellations are governed by Atlassian's marketplace policies.

8. Warranty Disclaimer

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. ZANMIND DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ZANMIND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF THE APP.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ZanMind harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App in violation of these terms or any third-party rights.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of any significant changes by posting the new terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Termination

This agreement remains in effect as long as you have an active subscription. You may terminate this agreement at any time by uninstalling the App and canceling your subscription. ZanMind may terminate this agreement if you breach any of these terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is located, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
